An in-frame kitchen in Steyning
This recent kitchen is about 8 miles away in Steyning, in a house with leaded windows and plenty of character.
Rather than start again, the owners asked us to keep the in-frame units they had and make the room work for them now. Some original cabinets were adapted, new doors were made to match the old ones, and a housing was built for a new oven that sits with the rest as if it had always been part of the room.
The whole kitchen was then hand-painted in a shade the owners picked, and finished with stone worktops and a toughened glass splashback. It is the kind of approach that often suits an older Henfield house.
