Media walls for Worthing living rooms
We design and build media walls for homes across Worthing, from a painted unit with shelves either side of the screen to a whole wall of oak slats. Our Storrington showroom is about 25 minutes away over the Downs.
Planned around the room you watch in
Film has a long history in Worthing. The Dome on the seafront has been showing films for more than a hundred years and is one of the oldest working cinemas in England. At home the rooms vary a great deal, from houses built in the 1880s and the 1930s to seafront flats and the estates laid out west of the town after 1948.
Each of those rooms asks something different of a media wall. Alcoves either side of a chimney breast can take cupboards below and shelves above, with the screen on the breast between them. Where there is no chimney, we can build the wall out and set the screen into the joinery, with the cables run behind it.
The screen, the speakers, the lighting and any electric fire go into the first drawing, so very little is left on show when it is finished. With the television off, it should look like a piece of furniture made for the room.

A recent media wall in Lancing, along the coast from Worthing
In Lancing, about 10 minutes along the coast from Worthing, a client asked us for a centrepiece for the living room: somewhere to watch films on a big screen and to play a lot of games.
We designed and built the unit in a soft misty blue. Natural oak acoustic panels on black felt run vertically behind the screen and the open shelves, absorbing sound and giving the blue some texture. LED strips under each shelf pick out the grain of the oak.
Deep drawers and cupboards below hold the games, glassware and books. The console has its own ventilated space, out of sight but easy to reach for cables, and the sockets were placed with the cable runs in mind. Soft-close drawers and brushed nickel knobs finish it.

Joinery made to fit
Cabinets, shelves and drawers made to measure for your wall, painted or in oak, often in the finishes we use in our kitchens. The screen can sit flush in the joinery at a comfortable height.
Screen and sound
We supply and fit LG OLED evo screens and Sonos soundbars, subwoofers and rear speakers, or install the equipment you already own. Speakers can go in the joinery, the wall or the ceiling.
Cables, light and heat
Power, data and HDMI run inside the wall or the cabinets, with the equipment in ventilated compartments. Dimmable lighting goes on shelves and slats, and an electric fire can sit below or beside the screen.
