Why SMEG comes first in our kitchens
SMEG covers more of the kitchen than most people expect, and it brings a sense of design we rarely find elsewhere.
The Italian manufacturer has worked with architects including Renzo Piano Design Studio, Guido Canali and Stefano Boeri Interiors. Its ovens, hobs, hoods, fridges, dishwashers, coffee machines and wine coolers can be matched across a whole room, which makes a consistent look easy to hold, whatever the style of the kitchen.
We specify SMEG as part of the design rather than as a separate purchase, so every appliance is measured, ventilated and positioned before a single cabinet is ordered.

SMEG is not reserved for showpiece kitchens. Its collections run from practical, well made ovens and hobs to pieces designed with leading architects, so there is a sensible choice for a first family kitchen, a careful update or a complete rebuild. We will be straightforward about which features are worth having for the way you cook.

Each SMEG collection has its own design language. These are the ones we plan with most often, and we are happy to talk through any of the others.
Dolce Stil Novo
Ovens, hobs, coffee machines, wine coolers and drawers engineered for professional-level results, with Galileo cooking technology and trims in stainless steel, titanium or copper.
Linea
Built-in appliances drawn around a single line, with touch controls and pyrolytic cleaning on many models.
Musa
Ovens, hobs, microwaves and drawers created with BorromeodeSilva Studio, balancing geometry with gloss and matt.
50s Style
The rounded FAB fridge in pastel and bold colours, now joined by matching dishwashers, hoods, taps and small appliances.
Victoria
Range cookers, ovens, hobs and fridges inspired by SMEG's first cooker of 1948, with chunky controls and pillowed doors.
Portofino
Range cookers in colours taken from the harbour of Portofino, from olive and orange to yellow and red, as well as stainless steel.
Classic
Stainless steel and dark glass in an understated industrial design, first developed with architect Guido Canali.
Cucina
Clean, square lines across ovens, compact ovens, hobs and microwaves. Simple and practical.
Isola
Hoods and hobs created with Stefano Boeri Interiors, with a quiet, architectural presence over an island.
One oven, three ways to cook
Galileo is SMEG's cooking technology, combining conventional heat, steam and microwave.
Omnichef brings all three together in one oven. SpeedWave XL pairs conventional heat with microwave for quicker results, and SteamGeneration pairs it with steam for gentler, moister ones. Galileo ovens are available in several collections, including Dolce Stil Novo and Musa, so the technology never dictates the look.
Extraction, inside the hob
SMEG's induction hobs with integrated hood combine hob and extractor in one surface, with no hood overhead.
Shown here is the 80 cm Linea model in Neptune Grey, the HOBD182DG. Its four induction zones pair into two MultiZone areas, the Evo Slider controls light up only while you cook, and the extraction adjusts automatically to the power you are cooking on. There are also 70 and 83 cm versions in black.
The motor and ducting sit in the cabinet below, which is why we plan the hob and the units beneath it together.
On the worktop
SMEG's small appliances, from kettles and toasters to espresso machines and stand mixers, come in colours that can pick up a cabinet finish or a splashback. We are happy to suggest pieces that suit the kitchen we are designing with you.
Planned in, not added on
Appliances shape a kitchen as much as the cabinets do. A range cooker needs the right wall and space either side of it, and a column of built-in ovens changes where the larder goes, so we settle them early.

Siemens iQ700 built-in ovens such as the HS936GCB1 pair a TFT touch display with fullSteam Plus, sous‑vide cooking and a roastingSensor Plus.
Neff Slide & Hide® ovens have a door that disappears entirely with a single move, so basting, stirring and cleaning can all happen up close.
Boiling water taps from Qettle and Quooker, and natural and engineered stone worktops from Cullifords, sit comfortably alongside any of them.

Please register each appliance with its manufacturer within 14 days of installation. It only takes a few minutes, and it keeps any future claim straightforward.
Appliances are guaranteed in line with our chosen manufacturer's guarantee, and the full details are confirmed in your aftercare pack when the kitchen is finished.
