When the cabinets are sound and the doors are not
Littlehampton grew up on the east bank of the River Arun, first as a port and then as a seaside resort. After the war the town spread outwards and took in Wick, Lyminster and Toddington, so homes range from older houses near the river and the seafront to the estates built on the edges of town.
A kitchen does not have to be old to need attention. The carcasses may be sound while the doors have started to peel, the splashback has dulled or the tap never quite reached the sink. That does not always mean taking the whole kitchen out.
We will look at what you have and say honestly which route suits it. A makeover can mean new doors, drawer fronts and panels, a new splashback and better lighting on the units you already own. If the layout is the problem, we design the room again.

A recent kitchen makeover in Storrington
Close to our showroom in Storrington, a homeowner called us in to put right a kitchen that had let them down. The doors were delaminating, the doors and panels were poorly fitted, the splashback had dulled and the tap did not reach the sink properly.
They wanted a proper fix without a full rip-out. We replaced the doors, drawers and panels in a supermatt beige, fitted a satin grey splashback that is easy to wipe clean, and added under-cabinet and recessed LED lighting.
A new boiling water tap solved the reach problem. The units stayed where they were, and the whole room was brought up to date.
