Media walls in Barnham, built around your equipment
The grey oak wall shown here is one we designed and built in Barnham. A 77-inch television, floor-standing speakers and hidden cabling were planned as one wall, not added one piece at a time.
A wall that belongs in the room
Barnham’s older settlement around Church Lane is rural in character, with flint walls, mature planting and fields around St Mary’s Church. The wider village connects with Eastergate along Barnham Road and with Yapton to the east.
Whether the room is in an older house or a more recent home, we start with seating, window light and the equipment you already own. The wall needs to carry the screen securely without taking more depth from the room than necessary.

The grey oak media wall we built in Barnham
A new stud wall was built with reinforcement where the 77-inch television hangs. Grey oak acoustic slats cover the full wall, while every cable runs inside it.
The soundbar, floor-standing speakers and equipment rack belonged to the owners. We measured the wall around that setup, leaving access points for servicing and later changes.
The photographs are from this Barnham installation. Our work was the design and construction of the wall, not the supply of the AV equipment or rug.

Fixing and support
We check the wall construction and screen bracket before settling the design. New framing and reinforcement are specified where required.
Sound and ventilation
Speakers need the right position and electronics need air. We plan equipment spaces around the kit you have or the system you want.
Cable access
Power, signal cables and access panels are part of the drawing. A future equipment change should not mean stripping the wall back.
