Rustington media walls, with sound in mind
Rustington is about 25 minutes from our showroom on the A280 and A24. We design media walls where the sound matters as much as the picture, with speakers built into the wall rather than left on the floor.
A village with music in its history
Sir Hubert Parry lived on Sea Lane in Rustington and gave the village’s name to one of his hymn tunes. Today the village runs from the flint cottages of The Street to bungalows and family houses down towards the sea.
Good sound at home depends on the room as much as the speakers. Hard walls and bare floors make dialogue harder to hear, and a soundbar pushed into a shelf loses much of what it can do.
A media wall lets us place the soundbar, subwoofer and rear speakers where they work best, with clearances around them and acoustic panels to soften the room. The screen, the cabling and any storage are planned in the same drawing.

A recent home cinema wall we designed and built in Storrington
This Storrington home cinema started with the equipment: a 77-inch television, floor-standing speakers and a soundbar that the owners already had.
We planned the wall around those pieces, built it on a new reinforced frame and faced it in grey oak acoustic slats, which take some of the echo out of a room with hard surfaces.
No cables show. They run inside the wall to access points, so the system can be changed later without opening anything up.
