Bespoke Grey Oak Media Wall and Home Cinema Integration
What the client wanted
This Storrington living room called for a media wall that could anchor the room visually and quietly house a 77-inch television alongside a high-end sound system. Rather than simply mounting the television on a wall, the brief was to build something structural and considered, finished to a standard that matched the equipment it would hold.
What we did
A bespoke stud wall was built from scratch, with a heavily reinforced section engineered to carry the weight of the television securely for the long term.
The full wall was finished in grey oak acoustic slat panelling, adding depth, warmth and texture while softening sound reflections in the room.
Every cable is routed and hidden within the wall, with access points designed in from the start, so future upgrades or servicing never mean pulling the wall apart.
The client's own Sonos soundbar, floor-standing speakers and equipment rack were integrated so they read as part of the architecture. Every measurement was taken with that setup in mind.
The AV equipment and the rug shown here were supplied by the client. Our work was the design and build of the media wall itself.
