In-Frame Kitchen Transformation in Steyning

What the client wanted

Rather than ripping everything out and starting from scratch, the aim in this Steyning, West Sussex, kitchen was to keep the character of the existing in-frame kitchen while bringing the whole space up to date. Colour was entirely the client's choice.

What we did

We worked with the existing in-frame kitchen, carefully adapting the original units and making new, matching doors where needed.

A new oven housing was built for a Neff Hide & Slide oven and finished to match the rest of the cabinetry, so it looks as though it has always been part of the kitchen.

Every door and cabinet was hand-painted in a bespoke shade chosen for this home. We also installed a toughened glass splashback for an easy-to-clean finish, with stone worktops that add warmth and durability.

It is a good example of how a kitchen renovation does not always mean starting over. Sometimes the best results come from working with what is already there.
